The plan and elevation sketches were created using 0.5 and 0.8 thickness fineliners.
Cross hatching was implemented in order to convey depth and form of the croissant, although still a plan/elevated view.
Section markers to indicate the location of each cross section, as well as which side the section drawings are facing.
Pencil sketched cross sections of the croissant at various locations. Shaded with 2H and 2B graphite pencils.
Some edges of the images were lost during scanning into the digital format (photoshop).
The initial outline of the cross sections were not extremely accurate due to the lack of contrast from the photocopy, resulting in a cloudy and vague outline.
Axonometric drawing of the croissant. Constructed by plotting the intersections of the outline of the cross sections with the grid, and transferring those intersections to a warped grid to create a 3D structure.
